This note is from Ingar concerning the funding of the '89 blimp:
Hey 89!
As football season draws near, it's time to prepare for the home tailgating season again! There are some changes this year for those of you who would like to contribute to the blimp fund:
The blimp fund is now at $1075.00, after I received the insurance money to replace our last blimp. I would like to have $1300 to purchase the replacement blimp, or another $225. Additionally, to fly the blimp for a 5 game home season and an Army/Navy game (no more flying the blimp at A/N unattended), we will need 6 x $70 or $420. Obviously we can continue to raise funds during the season, so the first amount we need to raise is the $225 for the blimp replacement.
Any amount you would like to give would be great! $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 - every little bit helps!
To contribute, please make your TAX DEDUCTIBLE (yup - tax deductible) contributions out to: "USNA Class of 1989." Please indicate in the memo section: "Blimp Fund."
